Children’s Seashore House

Donor Recognition

Children’s Seashore House’s Donor Recognition Wall was designed in response to the hospital’s request to honor historic bequests as well as ongoing donor campaigns for their new facility. The design incorporates both elements in an elegant modular system.

The intent of the design is to enhance those elements which were distinctive to the hospital’s identity. The 40’ x 5’ display created an imaginary window to the seashore landscape, while honoring the children who had benefited from the hospitals services over 100 years. Donor categories were defined by the specific beach imagery, color of plaque and category names chosen from the Atlantic City hotels which raised money for original family care areas of the facility in the late 19th century.
