Philadelphia Arts Bank

Interior Signage and Wayfinding

The Philadelphia Arts Bank signage program was developed to provide identity and wayfinding information in a renovated 1929 bank outfitted as a 238 seat theatre in central Philadelphia.

The Mercury Dime Symbolizing Freedom of Thought, provides a successful vehicle for establishing the facilities identity. The system applies the images in unique variations to promote recognition and encourage visitors interaction with the system.

The sign system relied on a color hierarchy for definition. The primary information of all sign components is consistent in its layout and location to ease navigation of the facility.
