Arcadia University

Campus Master Plan

Kent Design recently completed the signage design for a Master Plan for Arcadia University. Working in conjunction with landscape and lighting design disciplines, the signage concept provides a cohesive approach to wayfinding on this small suburban university campus.

Sign components included Identity, Wayfinding and Regulatory elements as well as components for Interpretive Stations and Orientation Maps.

The signage design pays homage to the University’s emphasis on Global Education through the integration of a Compass Rose in the post detail as well as expressing sympathy to other landscape features such as lighting standards specified for the campus.

The Arcadia University Master Plan, recently completed with Simone Collins, The Lighting Practice and Bartlett Tree Service received the Honor Award from the Pennsylvania/Delaware Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects in May 2007.
